David Woon - Eclectic Pragmatist

Every few weeks or so, David Woon, our site sponsor, has an epiphany.

However, like many of us, those thoughts are not always captured and posted to a blog for everyone to read.  David has captured many of these profound thoughts on his website dubbed, “Just a Thought.”David Woon's Just A Thought  David has been writing for his blog since November of 2004 so that makes him an old-timer veteran blogger!

You see, we all have “deep thoughts” but the real separator between Woon and the rest of the general public is that Woon captures his thoughts quite elegantly, and eloquently, however somewhat infrequently.

David Woon has a strong grasp of the English language. Further, he enjoys writing about pragmatic views on popular scientific advances.

A devout catholic, David Woon enjoys making “heroes” of everyone he meets by showing them their potential, their responsibilities, and their talents.  He writes a strong statement to better the world through meaning and fulfillment.

Let’s take a writing from June 22, 2007 entitled “The Golden Assumption.” David Woon claims to be a veteran of negotiation with large multinational corporations, government agencies, and universities. In his writing, he claims that everyone is a reasonable by nature.

I had a real asshole boss for an IT Manager one time. I would beg to differ on his universal application of this statement but I do see his point.

Regardless, I’d agree with David’s assertion that in order to successfully negotiate a deal, you will need to understand the other parties point of view.  How else can you formulate a winning plan-of-attack?  You’ll never close a big deal if you cannot put on your ‘lawyer hat’ and see it from the other side.

David Woon is a computer engineer, like myself, actually. In his writing on May 31, 2007, David Woon comments how he has not backed up his computer for more than six months. Been there too! I guess David and I have more in common than I thought.

When I first took a look at David Woon’s site, I first thought that this was a copy-and-paste plagiarist web site and I had both talon’s wide open ready to swoop in for the kill.  Then, I was going to feature this writer and his website on our Article Checker Plagiarism Captures  section complete with a screenshot.

Or, perhaps, this writer was indeed gifted.  Having completed almost 50 ReviewMe reviews, I haven’t come across the situation yet where a seemingly gifted writer had written his own material so I hadn’t much hope. So far, every writer who has appeared intelligent with a robust development of the English language, has acquired their content from another website and called it their own. Sad, but true.

So, I ran David’s web site through ArticleChecker.com. Since David Woon has all of his articles on this homepage only, there were 572 distinct phrases to search the Internet for.  It took about ten minutes to scan his site.

The result? Not one phrase was found on any other web site. David’s content was wholly and completely unique and original.

After I ran his site through articlechecker.com, and it was verified original, I started reading each and every blog entry like it was my first time I’ve seen the site. I said to myself, “Hey, we’ve got a writer here!”

A deep thinker, and God-fearing man, David Woon’s writings are interesting to read, full of somewhat useful, yet fully entertaining, information and existential thoughts, and are worthy contribution to the vast writings of the Internet.

If there is any one piece of information, or advice I would give Mr. Woon, is that I would like to see his writings only appear about once per month. It is a proven fact that to establish a worthy readership, you will need to write a post every single day. With David’s deep thoughts, this could prove to be a challenging task for him.

Sure, I was only paid to write approximately 200 words. However, after seeing David Woon writings, and confirming their originality, I decided that the public was better off knowing about David Woon Wu and rather than not knowing about him.
